The physical education class

I cannot remember how long I have not exercise since this semester? This might be the first time! And it felt awesome. I played badminton with Alice for the first half hour. And I was totally sweated. Also, it was a hot day. So, I went to the gymnasium due to the air conditioner.
I saw so many different equipments there; each had its function to train particular area of muscle. My classmates and I try many of apparatus, but some we could not understand its appendix.
To sum up, compared with the gymnasium, I love to exercise outside much better. The sunshine, the wind, the trees…to get the chance to be close to them is a blessing from god. Don’t you think so?

Frog-Bone Puzzles?!

The big topic of our General Biology Laboratory class this semester is anatomy of different kinds of animals. So far, we have do frogs, mouse, and eggs. I learn a lot from those animals, and I think that’s why I would not afraid of cutting dead bodies of animals, even human beings, every time before I start my anatomy class, I pray and said in mind “I promise that I would learn as much as I can with a thankful heart…”
After we finish the anatomy of frogs, there was a big mission waiting for us---puzzling frog bones back! The most unbearable thing for me was not that its difficulty but the disgusting smell. I have to say that it was really stinking. And I can put up with it in the laboratory but never in the dormitory! Even though how unwilling I was, I finished finally and I was satisfied with my work.

My skin is quite tender; it often got several of problems. Especially my face, I never get the point of what it need at different time, not to tell it changes by seasons, day and night…My mother took I to the doctor several weeks ago, then the situation seems to be better, the only bad thing is that the product I use, due to the doctor’s suggestion, were too expensive! So I was a little bit feeling sorry to my parents…But recently, I found a brand of masks are quite cheap. The maker is famous these years---牛爾.
I bought two bottles of masks online (Red Wine Hydra Mask and Green Clay Porless Mask). After using, my sister and I both feel great. My mother was also happy about the price---NT199 for each bottle. It sounds awesome, right? Now I would feel so worry about the money I spend so much.

Which do you think came first, grammer rules or language?

I think that language is more important than grammar rules. Basically, if people could understand what I am trying to convey, then, there is no problem for my own self. Though my elder sister was major in British English, I always see languages as a tool, even tone is more important than grammar rules! I use languages to learn more in other aspects, such as reading English novels or magazines, so I know much more about the world. To sum up, if a language can help me to get other acknowledge, I would happy to learn, but only a tool! Never get stock in grammar rules!

The legend of 1900

The story of an individual who is born and raised on a ship, learning about people and the outside world through interactions with the ship's rotating passengers, THE LEGEND OF 1900 comes from director Guiseppe Tornatore. When a deckhand, Boodman (Bill Nunn), discovers a newborn baby on January 1, 1900, he Christens him Danny Boodman T.D. Lemon 1900. A freak accident takes the life of the older Boodman, and 1900 (Tim Roth) is looked after by other members of the ship's crew. As he grows up, he learns to accept the crew as his family and the ship as his home. A glimpse of an individual playing a piano intrigues 1900, and before long he's a well-accomplished adult pianist. The legend reaches land and eventually earns 1900 visits from Jelly Roll Morton (Clarence Williams III) and a member of the music industry who wants to record him. The song that 1900 plays is dedicated to a beautiful young woman (Melanie Thierry) who threatens to lure him off the ship. Sheepishly, he stays. All of this is told in flashback, remembered by 1900's despondent friend Max (Pruitt Taylor Vince) as he prepares to pawn his trumpet. When he discovers that the ship is about to be sunk, he is convinced that 1900 is still on it somewhere and the frantic race is on to save his friend.

The first time I know the movie was through its melody, not the movie itself. Then, I desire to see what kind of movie it is.
After seeing, I was shock by the life philosophy of 1900. In the last part of it, when Max find 1900 in the ship, they talk for the ever last time, and 1900 said: “the keys of pianos is finite, so I can make beautiful melody. But when I see the land, I did not see the end…the keys of land is infinite, it’s the piano of god, which I can play…that’s my life philosophy.” I could remember his every single word, but I remember how I feel clearly. I was a competitive person sometimes, and sometimes I just refuse to acknowledge my limit, even when the truth was just put in my eyes…so I learn the philosophy of 1900, do what I want (but never do harm to others)and accept my limited ability at the right time.

It was a wonderful sunny day! Our class went to Taipei for an observation of ecology. Actually, we did not spend too much spirit on the mainly propose. Conversely, Alice, Alec, Janice and I walking along the road chatting. During the time, I not only breathed the fresh air but also felt relax, no matter my body or my heart. I have always loved natural and long hoped for living in the suburbs due to its convenient and awesome view. Don’t you think so?
In the afternoon, we visit a traditional small town in Taipei. Alice, Miles and I ate several kinds or food, such us ice cream in a piece of bread and tofu. They are really delicious. But it became too hot outside, we quickly looking forward to the night market’s cold drink!
That night, I finally visit the famous night market! We ate so many foods. For instance, pancake, fried dumplings on the iron plate, caramel apple, deep-fried chicken seasoned with pepper & salt, and, of course, tasty cold drink. I purposely do not to think about the calories in those foods. But the most important thing is I had a happy day!

Do I go too far away?

After entering Chang-Gung University, majoring in life science, sometimes I feel it is kind of far away from my real dream. Maybe it is because we need to learn some basic knowledge before getting advanced information. I only could tell myself so…
The truth is that I am so afraid. Since grade 12, my first time to face the real world without my parents’ protect. I understand more and more clearly about the world, life, and so on, but not from my desire. In the beginning, I was incredible upset for nearly one and half years. I cannot expect one day to come out of the nightmare. Fortunately, I become better recently. Really…I do not know what will it be tomorrow, but I would try my best to welcome it…

Frence

Last summer vacation, when I was graduated from senior high, I took a trip to France with my mother and my older sister. That was my first time to visit Europe. At first, I was little worried about racial discrimination, but during the whole trip, I felt nothing. Honestly, I had never seen so many beautiful things in such a short time. The castles, food, people mystery had an atmosphere of lazy. Even a lunch could take three hours; I went into the restaurant at twelve and left at three. In Taiwan, it is impossible! I had a record of finishing a bowl noodles in hot soup in three minutes, thanks to Taiwan’s great education pressure. During the fourteen days, I wrote fourteen cards to my good friends in Taiwan, telling what I experienced and hoping that she could felt the same as I did.

This photo took at a zoo in California in 2005’s summer. When I saw them, a sudden feel strike me deeply. I believe that everyone could see the love in this photograph and feel the same way like me. The mother was teaching her adorable daughter about a turtle near them. You may not able to see the little girl’s face, but I think that the lovely hair had already told you what a pure eyes she had. Sometimes, when I looked at this picture, I was wondering “if the girl still keeps her pure eyes?”
This photo took at Portland University in 2005’s summer. Oh…this is definitely what surroundings I expect to stay. Just look at the beautiful park and people lives there, which is bliss!!! And just around the corner was a Starbucks, sometimes when the day is begin or finished, I bought a cup of drink there and had a seat on the green grass to look at passers-by…

Ideal Place to Live

Have you ever read the book “Anne of green gables”? Were you attracted by the beautiful scenery that the book described? Or have you ever dreamed of being in a valley full of cotton grass smell? I did before, and I always imagine running by myself on the green grass, sitting in front of the fire place getting warm during winter. If I tell there is really a place like that in the world, would you believe me? Yes, there is, the name of the island is Prince Edward Island.

It’s Canada’s smallest island, she’s a very quiet island which is located in between the waves of the sea, Anne’s story happened there. No matter you’ve just taken the boat or just got off the Confederation Bridge after you enter Prince Edward Island, you will have the particular feeling about the island immediately. Beautiful unflat fields covered with white green fog. When the wind blows, white poplars make voice. Yellow daisies spread out into the field. Lavenders also spread into the field with purple color. Small rivers pass through the white poplar valley with water voice, sounds like dream voice calling us. Every minute even every second, the tremendous feeling amaze people, everything seems so warm, we can’t describe the beauty, but it’s also real. An island full of dream, just like paradise, there’s no pollution of civilization, we can find ourselves there.

Fall comes, cool wind will blow from the sea, blown to Prince Edward Island, you can ride your bicycle through the forest with red brick roads, or you can just walk through the yard full of sunflowers, get a tan from the sun lazily. A beautiful place like Prince Edward Island, a famous explorer Jacques Cartier described her as “The most beautiful place I’ve never seen in my life before.”

To live on this dream island is my biggest fantasy. I really hope one day I can reach the gift from god ---To live in Prince Edward Island with my family and live there happily! This is my dream, how about you?

When it is spring or fall

When it is spring or fall, I like to walk along the street slowly.
When it is raining, I like to read by the window, and finally fall asleep.
When it is in the afternoon, I like to chat with my best friends at Rosehouse.

Sometimes, I enjoy being alone;
Sometimes, I feel lonely, just like seeing the last leave falling from the tree every fall.
Sometimes, I want to stay at home;
Sometimes, I yearn for traveling to a new place that no one knows me, for getting the power to face the original life.

When I was younger, I do not like to drink orange juice.
When I was little, I indulge in reading; I was so concentrated that I cannot hear my Mom’s calling.
When I was study in elementary school, I met a person who had left almost eight years, but I would never forget.
When I was grade 12, it is the first time I was forced to face the great pain when my dream strike against the real world.

I know that I am not mature enough in minds.
I know that I am not a perfect person.
But I really want to enjoy “life.”

Maybe there are tears in the future,
But I believe there is happiness, too.
I am 19 years old,
I would make mistakes that a 19-year-old girl would makes, then take the lesson to go on.
I believe so……

The story of us...was beginning from Portland.

Candy,Iris,Ann and me were classmates in 10 grades,but in that year, we are not close to each other,except for Ann and I.Until we attend a summer English program,held by our senior high--Hsinchu Girls' High School,to America for one month.During that July, 2005, we became best friends. We shared our lives, feelings together. We all appreciate that we have the chance to become friends, and also promised that we would go back to Portland together someday.


Even though we live in different places now, we still see each other as part of self. Because Iris is study in Poland for being a dentist now, we only can met when it is winter or summer vacation. But Candy, Ann and I meet sometimes, this semester Ann had come to Chang-Gung Hospital when I was in a low spirit, she listen to my words, just like she always did. I would never forget that night at rosehouse……

I cannot describe how much love, respect, and trust I hold for them. But every time I feel sad, tired, or happy, I looked at the pictures I put front of my desk, then I will get the courage to go on, because I know, even there is no one trust me, they do! I love them so much!

Pride and Prejudice

"Pride and Prejuduce" is a world famous book wrote by Jane Austen,a British female writer.

I read this book many years before,and now it is one of my favorite books!The book is talking about Miss Elizabath's prejudice and Mr. Darcy's pride,and thus make their misunderstanding worse and their love begin.The story was fantastic during the process,you can feel the chemical reaction between their hate and love.Without saying,you must know the ending was happy.But for me,the most important thing was those thoughts and feeling in the story.I have read it so many times,and incredibly,every time I have gotten different ideas.Through getting order,the more things I underwent,the more aspects 0f things I could think of,so I understood more message that the author left in words and lines."I do not want people to be very agreeable,as it saves me the trouble of liking them a great deal."said by Jane Austen.To sum up,for sure,I would get much more stuff in my heart in the future when I read the book again!

By the way,the wonderful story had been taken to the screen many times,and recently,the newest editor acted by Keira Knightley and Matthew MacFadyen was as ausome as the story itself!I have also seen the movie again and again!
